Loading your tree in a car with fold down seats

  • Step 1: Bring a tarp or purchase a tarp from us for $2.00.
  • Step 2: Wrap the tree in a 6’ x 8’ tarp as seen in the photo.
  • Step 3: Load the tree with the seats folded down.  NOTE: This will NOT work if the seats are needed for passengers.

Keep it fresh tips:

  • Stand should hold at least 1 gallon of water.
  • If you are traveling more than 30 minutes to get home, it is recommended that your tree be placed under some kind of cover to protect it from the drying wind.

Check Roof Rack First:

If you are planning to transport your tree on the car roof, check the roof rack.  Many newer models have racks that are just decorative and not functional. The photo below is an example of a rack that cannot tie down a tree successfully.

Additional Tree Information

  • Every tree receives personal attention and pruning every year.
  • Live trees will recycle...artificial trees are mostly made of non -biodegradable materials and are not manufactured by U.S. workers.
  • Hand saws are available on site and gloves are recommended for handling any tree.
  • Each tree is cleaned and shaken of unnecessary debris at the time of cutting. The only exception are trees that are too heavy and thick for the mechanical shaker.
  • Mechanical wrapping is not available. Help with hand wrapping depends on need and availability of workers.
